WHY HOME & HEALTH EXISTS

Today’s healthcare system is broken. Families feel it. Nurses know it. And those in need of care, from new mothers to the elderly, often fall through the cracks.

Mothers are discharged from hospitals overwhelmed and unsupported, left to face the challenges of postpartum recovery without the care and encouragement they deserve. The elderly - many of whom once spent their lives caring for others - now find themselves alone, with loved ones stretched thin or unable to meet their growing needs. And nurses, once called to bring healing, are burning out in systems that resemble factories more than places of true compassion. In today’s healthcare system, care feels rushed, faith is often missing, and with it, the deeper meaning of family and shared humanity is fading.

While the soul of healthcare is quietly disappearing, we’re losing sight of life’s inherent value - from the moment of conception to a person’s final breath. Meanwhile, countless overworked parents - especially mothers - are forced to carry life’s heaviest burdens alone, without the village they so deeply need. And now with the rising prevalence of abortion and euthanasia, we felt a deep and undeniable conviction: Something must change and we need to start somewhere... in the home.

Home & Health was created in response to that call. It’s more than a service - it’s a mission to do things differently.

We believe in the dignity of life at every stage.
We believe in restoring honor to the nursing profession.
And we believe that healthcare should not only treat the body, but also tend to the heart and soul - with faith, prayer, and meaningful purpose at the center of care.

Here, care happens in the place where people feel safest - home. Led by nurses. Rooted in Christian values. Committed to excellence. This is more than home care - it's a return to what care was always meant to be.
